GROUP OF GERMAN PORCELAIN NIGHT LIGHTS, TOGETHER WITH FIGURAL TEAPOT AND MATCHING STILL BANK.

First half 20th century, Germany. Lot comprises twelve night lights including a Dutch girl and boy with luminous eyes, three seated Oriental figural lamps, four in the form of Middle Eastern characters, etc. Two large figures, each depicting a woman in pink blouse with brown hair in bun, holding a teapot and with umbrella and satchel on left arm, wearing brown dress with apron. Neck scarf continuing to form handle. One figure designed as a teapot. The second similar figure designed as a still bank. The coin slot located at the back of her waist. Additional figures include an Art Deco seated nude female figure by Metzler & Ortloff. SIZE: Ranges from 4″ h to 11″ h. PROVENANCE: From a private collection. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Electrical wiring is antiquated and should be replaced. Single Majolica frog type pitcher with considerable damage on frame and spout. 30548-16 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 3255
