LOUIS XVI STYLE WALNUT TALL CHEST WITH GILT METAL MOUNTS.

Mid 20th century, France. The rectangular top with matching bookend veneers above the conforming case, fitted with a pair of lined short drawers over five long drawers. All with brass moldings, cast with anthemion leaves. Raised on square tapered legs, with cast-brass trim. The pilasters with cast brass pendant trophy mounts. SIZE: 55″ h x 38″ w x 23″ d. PROVENANCE: From a private Massachusetts collection. CONDITION: All hardware and cast brass decorations original. Chest retains original surface, draw fronts now dry and in need of re-polishing.
