QUEEN ANNE STYLE MAHOGANY LOWBOY MADE BY NATHAN MARGOLIS.

Circa 1910, Hartford, Connecticut. The rectangular top with molded edge projecting above the conforming case fitted with a single long drawer over three aligned drawers, the center most fan carved, all with thumb molded edges, above the shaped apron raised on cabriole legs with shaped returns terminating in round pad feet. An early handwritten label fixed within the center drawer reads in script: “This lowboy was made for Mrs. J.A. Kilborn by Nathan Margolis, Hartford Conn. Feb 16, 1918.” SIZE: 34″ h x 41-1/2″ w x 22″ d. CONDITION: Case retains original surface, tight vertical shrinkage cracks on case sides, otherwise good. 50567-3 (800-1,200) – Lot 3239
