FRANKLIN MINT 1988 FACSIMILE OF THE TIFFANY TEDDY ROOSEVELT PRESENTATION BOWIE KNIFE.

13-1/2″ overall with about 8″ blade, with raised relief panels of bears and deer. Silver handle with “Roosevelt” in raised relief. Casing also holds facsimile bullet embossed with Roosevelt’s signature. The original Roosevelt knife sold just last year for almost one-half million dollars, making it the most expensive Bowie knife ever sold. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains most all its original silver plating. Blade is still well sharpened. Lock is not functional on casing, which has numerous small dings and dents, and two re-glued corners to lid that holds glass in place. 52013-27 (300-400) – Lot 3238
