BLACK FOREST CARVED BEAR HALL TREE.Black Forest, 2nd half 19th century. A fine example with momma bear holding tree with one cub clinging to twig form umbrella hoop and another cub at the top of the tree. Bears all have taxidermy glass eyes. The rusticated carving typical of better examples made in the late 19th century. SIZE: 78″ t x 24″ w x 19″ d. CONDITION: Very good with pleasing patina and with some modern fasteners added underneath and to umbrella hoop. Tin umbrella drip pan not present. 49371-17 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 3233
