HARRIET FRISHMUTH NUDE BRONZE.Harriet Frishmuth bronze entitled “The Star” depicts a nude maiden gazing at the sky with one arm raised. Sculpture was modeled in 1918 in an edition of 345. It is finished with its original dark brown patina with green highlights. Signed on the foot “Harriet w. Frishmuth 1918” and also stamped with Foundry mark “Gorham Co. Founders O505 #306”. SIZE: 20-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Charles N. & Josephine R. Aronson to present owner. Illustrated in the book “Sculptured Hyacinths” by C. N. Aronson.
