RARE LATE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY IROQUOIS BEADED AND QUILLED BAG.Finely quilled, smoked buckskin with silk edging having white edge beads. Quills are dyed blue and persimmon. Interior is lined with very early trade cloth. No stiffness. SIZE: 8-1/2″ w x 8″ l. PROVENANCE: From an old Maine collection. CONDITION: Bead loss, silk loss, wear to quill work, light inset grazing.
