*HAND ENGRAVED BROWNING BAR GRADE IV RIFLE WITH CASE.SN 70338M70. Cal. 243 Winchester. This fine first year of production rifle has standard markings on 23″ round bbl. Gray receiver is engraved with “Diana” style large scrolling acanthus with strap work highlights surrounding scenes of game; white tail buck and doe bounding over fallen bush on left, and male and female pronghorn in prairie on right. Nicely stump figured claro walnut stocks have fine checkering with beaded borders, and acanthus carving at ends. Drop at heel: approx 1-3/4″, drop at comb: approx 1-5/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 15 oz. LOP: 13-3/4″. Full length tan Hartmann case lined in faux fur contains a key. CONDITION: Excellent, essentially as new, with only the faintest of marks in all factory finishes. Mechanically crisp.
