FOUR WAX DOLLS.

The two larger dolls are German wax over papier mâché shoulder heads and the two smaller are English poured wax dolls. Round faced wax over mâché has blue glass inset eyes and a very childlike demeanor. Larger of this type has blue glass sleep eyes and head is turned ever so slightly to the right. The paler of the two poured wax dolls has inset blue glass eyes and has waxed lower limbs and original clothing. Smaller poured wax doll has painted eyes and has more of a beeswax coloration and is dressed as a young lady. SIZE: Tallest: 21″ t (53cm). Shortest: 14″ t (36cm). CONDITION: Fair to good; all have some crazing with a crack on back of the paler poured wax shoulder. 1-13661 (300-600) – Lot 3217
