2011, New Hampshire. The standing black bear wearing a buffalo robe and white feather behind his ear holding a catlinite pipe carved in the form of a bison. The hard wood stem decorated with coiled porcupine quills dyed in colors to represent the Four Directions. The robe decorated with a red, white and black crossed symbol designating the Four directions. The figure carved from the solid is realistically rendered with fine details throughout.
