HIGHLY UNUSUAL CARVED PORCELAIN VASE.

China, Republic Period. The vase with a highly detailed and continuous scene carved into the body depicting a bustling city. Scene includes traders and merchants on a bridge and along the waters edge with boats below. The neck and foot accented with various bands of trim and beading all done in grisaille. SIZE: 13-1/2″ h.
