RENAISSANCE REVIVAL WALNUT BUTLERS SECRETARY BOOKCASE.

Second quarter 19th century, New England. In two parts, the upper book case with molded and carved cresting centering a plinth above a curvilinear molding over a pair of glass panel doors opening to shelves. Fitted to the conforming lower case with simulated top drawer hinged and opening to a baize lined writing surface, the interior fitted with drawers and pigeon hole openings fitted for stationary over a pair of paneled cupboard doors flanked by molded and carved balusters all on a molded plinth. The whole with burl walnut accent panels. SIZE: 8’11” h x 48” w x 19” d. CONDITION: Structurally all original, professionally polished with fine patina. 49486-2 (1,800-2,200) – Lot 3211
