TWO LAMPS AND ONE COPPER LANTERN.1) Handel piano lamp with scalloped shell molded bronze base leading to an adjustable gooseneck arm ending in a loaf shaped obverse painted shade with yellow background and scrolling cornucopia in shades of gray, blue and brown. Signed on the interior lip of shade “Handel” and numbered. Base is signed with an applied Handel tag on underside. 2) Cast metal boudoir single socket lamp is topped with a “Coolie Hat” style shade backed with four white textured carmel glass panels finished with geometric metal overlay. Unsigned. Art Nouveau influenced canister base molded with stylized tulips. Unsigned. 3) Fanciful sheet copper porch lantern is backed with blue-gray slag glass panels. Lantern frame is in the form of a gabled building with three gable windows within the roof. Each sheet copper panel is cut illustrating nymphs and with other dancing figures beneath trees. Lantern is connected to a hanging chain mounted to a ceiling bracket. SIZE: 1) Shade is 8″ l x 3-1/2″ d. Lamp is overall 11-1/4″ h. 2) Shade is 8-1/2″ dia. Lamp is 13-1/2″ h. 3) 15″ h. CONDITION: 1) Very good with no imperfections or restoration noted. 2) Structurally good. Shade is very good with no restoration or imperfections to glass panels. Lamp base with abrasions to the surface. The weighted foot rim with loss of paint. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord. 3) Original undisturbed surface. Very good overall.
