ELABORATE VICTORIAN ERA GESSO MIRROR.

Circa mid-19th century. This impressive mirror is mounted on top with a huge collage of elaborate flowers and fruits. The upper sides of the mirror ornamented with cornucopias spilling fruit being held by a frolicking putti. The entire surface is an old gold finish with a sand surface. SIZE: 70″ high x approximately 36-1/2″ wide. CONDITION: Damage and loss to the lower right edge of the frame. Also a small loss at the very top. 52380-9 (400-600) – Lot 3198
