SN C11333B. Cal. 375 H&H. 24-1/2″ Mono-bloc bbls are fitted with full length rib, central portion milled away forming quarter rib and front sight base. Quarter rib holds one standing, one folding leaf express rear sight and claw scope bases. A gold bead is in front ramp. Left side of top bbl and mono-bloc are engraved “P. Beretta – ITALY” and with caliber. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with model, caliber, and SN. Case hardened, low profile, sidelock action features non-automatic safety and dbl triggers. Action and lockplates are engraved with simple scroll borders, and with other flourishes of scroll, with makers name on each lockplate, as well as on bottom of action, along with “EXPRESS”. Double beaded trigger guard is gold inlaid with script initials “A L B” (?) and SN is on tang, which extends to steel grip cap with trap. Trap contains a spare front sight. Beautifully marbled European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 15″ over brown Old English pad, and features right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering with line borders at grip, and a hinged cartridge trap with space for three cartridges on toe line. Front portion is held in place by sling eye matching that soldered to bottom of bottom bbl. QD swivels are also in place. Matching one piece ejector forend has Deeley type release. Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5 – 6X rail scope with duplex reticle is fitted with claw mounts. Drop at heel: approx 2-3/8″, drop at comb: approx 1-3/4″. Cast: approx 1/4″ off. Weight without scope: 10 lbs. 14 oz. LOP: 15″. High quality dark brown leather case with stitched leather corners by Nizzoli, is lined in dark olive felt, and has gold embossed brown Beretta label in lid. Case is semi french fitted for action and bbls, scope does not fit into case, but would with the simple removal of one partition. Scope is accompanied by its orig box. CONDITION: Excellent, very near to new, with only the lightest handling and assembly marks in all finishes, wood and metal, and scant evidence of having been fired since proof. Mechanically crisp. Scope is excellent with one or two light marks on exterior. Optics are clear. Case is excellent, with a number of light scuffs. Interior has some light compressions.
