JOHN MORGAN & SONS LEADED TABLE LAMP.

John Morgan & Sons table lamp has leaded shade with straight sided skirt that has a center geometric band of diamond shaped panels and striated red, blue and green glass. Geometric band is bordered at top and bottom by green striated glass cabochons each separated by a long narrow green striated glass panel. Shade is completed on the top by 18 striated red, green and white glass bent panels. Shade rests on a stamped metal base with a stylized flower form design on the foot and applied wire tendrils vining up the stem. Base has a dark brown patina. Shade and base are unsigned. SIZE: Shade: 15-1/2″ dia. Base: 22-1/4″ t. CONDITION: All but 4 of the bent panels on the shade have cracks near the aperture. Two of the panels have spider cracks and missing glass, some other tight hairlines in the skirt. Base has replaced contemporary brass sockets along with wear and discoloration to patina, rewired with plastic cord. 5-69410 (800-1,200) – Lot 3191
