ROCOCO STYLE PIETRA DURA MARBLE CONSOLE WITH MOLDED GILT FLORAL DECORATION.

Late 20th century, Europe. This decorative example inlaid with a polychrome hard stone urn framed by scrolling leaf tips within a white demilune border all set within a gray breschia marble top with molded edge above the conforming marble frieze inset with rectangular floral patera, rondels, and open gilt galleries of foliate vinery. Raised on six tapering cylindrical legs mimicking torches, each wrapped in spiraling gilt garlands alternating with ribbon tied floral garlands suspended beneath the apron.
