CLASSICAL REVIVAL CARVED AND INLAID MAHOGANY CHEVAL MIRRROR, LABELED “R.J. HORNER & CO.”.

Late 19th century, New York. The beveled oval mirrorplate within a conforming molded surround surmounted by a marquetry ribbon tied garland with abalone flowerheads, hinged and tilting on mahogany stand with reeded cylindrical columns surmounted by carved pineapples on trestle molded supports terminating in compressed ball feet. Supports joined by a support with intricate floral marquetry. SIZE: 73″ h x 33-1/2″ w x 22″ d. CONDITION: Mirror retains original surface with slight crazing.
