Central Persia, Mid-20th century. This finely woven example with silk threads in earth tones of ivory and beige with central arabesque medallion within a midnight blue field of dense floral and foliate vinery. The ivory main and guard borders woven with cloud bands and floral scrollwork. SIZE: 3′ 8″ x 5′ 7″. CONDITION: Very good overall, no imperfections noted. Minimal light even soiling overall.
