SN 778499. Cal. 6.35 mm. Stunning, near new, Walther PPK with high polish salt blue in the super rare 6.35 caliber. Standard configuration PPK with 3.25″ bbl having fixed front and rear sights separated by matted rib. Left side of slide with 90 degree safety marked with Walther banner followed by 2-line inscription that includes “Cal. 6.35 m/m” suffixed by “Mod. PPK”. Crown N proofing on right side of bbl hood and right side of slide. Full SN on right frame, vertically oriented behind trigger. Single piece mottled brown wrap-around grip secured with a single transverse screw. Slide disassembly shows a matching hand inscribed “499”. Correct unmarked magazine with 7 indicator holes on right side and internal sleeve for the smaller 6.35 mm cartridge. CONDITION: Better than 99% bright orig salt blue with only the most minute sharp edge wear at the muzzle and a tiny fleck of wear at the top of the frontstrap. Comparable condition grip that shows no cracks under the rear tang or around the grip screw escutcheons. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
