LOUIS PHILLIPE GILT TOLE CHANDELIER.

Third quarter 19th century, France. The hexagonal galleried annular ring issuing three chains supporting a tapered galleried hexagonal bowl. The gallery is parchment lined, a scrolled wrought-iron candle arm with crimped bobeche joined at each corner, each of the six candle arms with simulated beeswax candle. The hexagonal bowl embellished with gilt metal leafage above a reeded sphere all gilt-decorated. SIZE: 48″ h x 29″ dia. PROVENANCE: From a private Massachusetts collection. CONDITION: Structurally good, gilt and tole painted surfaces original with normal and accepted in-use wear. 50800-43 (400-600) – Lot 3162
