15-1/2″ KATHE KRUSE “MODELL” WITH TURTLE MARK.

Of slightly later vintage, probably from the 1950s era, this young lady has a circular Kruse tag with a turtle on it. The doll is constructed of celluloid and is marked on the back of the head with turtle mark as well as “T40”. A blond braided wig with a floral wreath entwined, this doll is in near mint, all original condition. She also features sleep eyes and painted facial features. The clothing as well as the wig are vibrant, showing virtually no soiling whatsoever. The only wonder here is what happened to her original box. SIZE: 15-1/2″ h.
