*◊ EXTRAORDINARY CASED 1906 FRENCH LUGER WITH ACCESSORIES.

SN 29535. Cal. 7.65 Para. 4-3/4″ bbl marked “Manufacture francaise d’Armes & Cycles de Saint-Etienne” on top, and “BUG” proofs and full SN on bottom. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. “BU” proofs on toggle assembly, and left receiver. Numbers on gun are matching, including checkered walnut grips. Grip safety. In an orig fitted mahogany case, with red velvet lining. Compartments for 2 wood bottom mags, a Vaseline tin, cleaning rod/oiler, and takedown tool. Compartment for ammo is empty. Inside lid is gold embossed “MANUFRANCE/SAINT-ETIENNE/LOIRE”. Box has brass fittings and hinges. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% blue and straw, with light corrosion overall. Grips are sharp with visible wood grain. Bore is worn with light pitting. Mechanics are fine. Mags have pitting on bodies, wood bottom on extra mag is worn down. Vaseline tin has light corrosion and proper patina for age. Rod/oiler, and takedown tool are excellent. Box has normal wear on exterior with scuffs and minor chips on edges and corners.
