*◊ RARE 4″ PERSIAN LUGER WITH MATCHING MAGAZINE AND WOOD CASE.

SN 1054. Cal. 9 mm. 4″ bbl with full SN on bottom. Persian crest above chamber, Farsi writing on center toggle link and right receiver. Oberndorf Crown/U proof on left receiver. Extractor and safety are marked in Farsi. Numbers on gun are matching in Farsi down to the toggle pin and firing pin. Checkered walnut grips are unnumbered. Orig mag has matching numbers in Farsi. In a Farsi marked wood box that appears to be an orig Persian military box for this gun, shipping labels from Lufthansa cargo are on bottom, lid is missing. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% orig blue with most wear on grip straps that are fading to light brown pitting. Retains 70% orig straw with corrosion overall. Grips are sharp and oil soaked. Bore is bright and sharp. Mag has minor dings and scratches. Mechanics are fine.
