*◊ RARE CASED VENEZUELAN 1906 COMMERCIAL LUGER.

SN 33780. Cal. 7.65 Para. 4-3/4″ bbl with “BUG” proofs and full SN on bottom. Venezuelan crest above chamber. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. “BU” proofs on toggle assembly and left receiver. Numbers on gun are matching, including on checkered walnut grips. Takedown lever appears to be later matching replacement. Grip safety. With three proper plain wood bottom mags, takedown tool, and box of proper era Gustav Genschow ammo (empty), in a maroon velvet lined fitted black leatherette case with metal fittings and leather carry handle. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% orig blue with areas of light pitting near muzzle, on sideplate, and on grip safety & grip strap. 80% orig straw with touch-up to takedown lever and safety lever. Grips are lightly worn and oil soaked. Bore is worn with pitting. Mechanics are fine. Mags have normal light wear. Takedown tool is excellent. Ammo box is beautiful with bright color and little wear. Interior of case has normal wear and staining from pistol and accessories. Exterior has light wear and leather handle has come off.
