SN 2061. Cal. 9 mm. 4″ bbl with Eagle/63 proof and four digit SN on bottom. Crown/U proof on front of sight base. 1936 date above chamber. Early small 9 stave Mauser banner logo on center toggle link. Tiny Eagle/63 proof on back of frame. Crescent Moon with Star, “TC”, “Subaylara/mahsustur” (officer’s property) on right receiver, with tiny Eagle/63 proof in center. Crown/U proof on left receiver. Eagle/63 proof on stop lug. Numbers on gun are matching down to the firing pin. Eagle/63 proof on right frame next to takedown lever. Checkered walnut grips are unnumbered. Orig matching numbered mag has aluminum bottom and Eagle/63 proof. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 80% orig blue with most surfaces turning brown with corrosion and/or light pitting. 25% orig straw is visible. Grips are worn and oil soaked dark. Bore is bright and sharp.
