PLAINS STYLE VICTORIAN PIPE BAG TOGETHER WITH TWO VERY EARLY PONY BEADED MATCHED PAIR OF SHIRT BIBS AND TRADE KNIFE.1) Pictorial pipe bag with geometric and pictorial elements in the Sioux style, depicting a Chief with full headdress on horseback, reverse with two half elk with morning stars. Beaded on hide and painted with red paint, sinew sewn. 2) Mid 19th century, shirt bibs with blue and white pony beads, thread sewn with horse track painted designs, profusely fringed, now tied together as a knife sheath, possibly upper Missouri. Together with trade knife. SIZE: 1) 30-1/2″ l (with fringe) x 7″ w. 2) 10″ l (overall) x 5″ w (with fringe). Knife is 9-1/2″ l.
