*◊ RARE 1902 DWM AMERICAN EAGLE “FAT BARREL” LUGER.

SN 23146. Cal. 9 mm. 4″ “Fat Barrel” with “BUG” proofs and full SN on bottom. American Eagle crest above chamber. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. Dished toggles. “BU” proofs on toggle assembly and left receiver. “GERMANY” export marked below SN on front of frame. Numbered parts are matching. Proper 6-point stars on backs of orig unnumbered checkered walnut grips. Grip safety. Wood bottom mag with flaming bomb proof on bottom. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 93% orig blue with scattered light corrosion that is turning brown on grip straps and grip safety. Retains 80% orig straw with corrosion. Grips are lightly worn, wood grain is still visible. Bore is worn with light pitting. Mechanics are fine.
