GERMAN BISQUE EDWARDIAN LADY DOLL.

This socket head incised “1159 S&H DEP8 Germany” with brown glass sleep eyes, lower painted lashes and silk upper lashes, open mouth with four upper teeth on original fully jointed wood and composition lady like body with narrow waist which is stamped in red “Heinrich Handwerck Germany”. Body finish is original as is her mohair wig in Gibson Girl style. She wears what appears to be an original factory cotton chemise and white cotton skirt. Shoes are also antique with low heels.
