First half 20th century. Woven throughout with delicate scrolling floral sprays and vinery with lotus blossoms and chrysanthemums all on muted pale beige ground. The main border with large intricate flower heads alternating with minor flower heads amongst foliage within multiple scrolling floral borders. The whole with a muted pleasing palette of soft pastels and earth tones. SIZE: 13′ 2″ x 21′ 8″. CONDITION: With overall even wear, retaining adequate pile, a circular stain present in one corner in main field, scattered areas of minor staining throughout outer third of central area in carpet.
