*RARE KRIEGHOFF I SERIES COMMERCIAL LUGER.SN 5910I. Cal. 7.65mm. 4″ bbl. “DWM” in script marked toggle with “Heinrich Krieghoff/Waffenfabrik/Suhl”. Left side of upper receiver Crown N proof chamber blank. Bbl SN with I series and Crown N. After detailed disassembly, all numbered parts are matching throughout. 2-pc commercial walnut grips numbered to gun with Krieghoff stainless steel unnumbered magazine. Early Krieghoff Lugers were to be sold commercially and were made by DWM. The I series being considered the first legitimate Krieghoff’s. These were manufactured in the mid-1920’s to ’30’s. Krieghoff did not manufacture their own Luger until 1935 and they were for the Luftwaffe. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with most all blue finish remaining with exception of high points which is to be expected. Most all straw finish remains on levers, trigger and magazine.
