SN 75. Cal. 9mm. 4″ bbl with post-war Eagle/N, Crown/N, and later “9mmP” on bottom. Blank chamber and toggle. “1001” (Ernst Thaelmann manufacturer’s mark) on left receiver. Dark brown plastic VoPo grips with borders and concentric circles. Machined aluminum bottom mag with manufacturers mark on body and matching SN on bottom. One of less than 150 trial Lugers crudely made in 1953 in East Germany using Kriegoff’s production equipment. Crude machine marks on most surfaces. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% orig blue with normal wear on sharp edges and corners. Grips have very little wear.
