Doll has windup mechanism on stomach and when wound, arms and legs move in a realistic swimming motion, and actually is thought to be able to swim in water. Head is bisque with molded and painted features, most likely French, and she wears her original swimming costume with label from the original French retailer marked “Au Nain Bleu Paris”.
