Rare Tiffany Studios bronze bookends are cast with a crest showing an enameled red and white shield with ornate scroll work. There are flowers and leaves surrounding the shield with a black enamel bird on top and a banner below inscribed “Exitus Acta Probat”. Below the banner is a cartouche with script “George Washington” signature. Bookends are finished in gold dore. Each is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 2006”. SIZE: 5-1/4″ t x 3-1/2″ w.
