Attractive bisque socket head incised “12” and having open mouth with six upper teeth, large blue paperweight eyes, pierced ears, on original French wood and composition body, with an oval stamp on torso reading “BEBE JUMEAU Diplome d’ Honneur”. She wears an attractive maroon pleated silk knee length costume with burgundy waist sash and ecru lace over the lower skirt. Wig is brown human hair over a cork pate, and the hat is antique red straw with a floral band. SIZE: 26″ t (66cm). CONDITION: Unable to remove pate, however no obvious damage noted; some typical paint flaking on body, most notably on upper legs. 1-13756 (800-1,200) – Lot 3124
