*EXCEPTIONALLY FINE 1914 ARTILLERY LUGER WITH IDEAL TELESCOPING STOCK.

SN 3769. Cal. 9mm. 8″ bbl with adjustable front sight and slide adjustable rear sight on bbl with early fine tuning adjustment. Dated over chamber “1914” with toggle marked crown over “ERFURT” with Imperial proofs on bbl, receiver, toggle and trigger guard. 2-pc checkered walnut grips. Rust blue finish overall. Small parts finished in straw coloring with nickel finished wood based magazine. Artillery is accompanied with an Ideal manufactured telescoping holster stock complete with the Ideal adapter grips. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall, with very little wear, slight finish loss as to be expected at muzzle. High points of receiver, front and back straps with slight discoloration on left side of frame above grip. After detailed disassembly all parts found to be matching with exception of magazine which is a proper type but mis-numbered. The Ideal telescoping stock all metal is exceptionally fine with most finish remaining. Slight brown discoloration at butt end, but metal is very good overall. Leather has gone untreated and is somewhat brittle. Stitching has deteriorated and is no longer secure. Ideal conversion grips have been refinished at some previous date but appear to function and lock up appropriately. This Ideal stock was made for a 4″ Luger. 51033-69 TDW (3,500-4,500) C&R – Lot 3122
