STEIFF EARLY POSTWAR PANDA WITH STEIFF ID.

This dear panda was produced in the circa 1952-1954 time frame given his great combination of a red imprinted chest tag and a US Zone tag. He is made from black and white mohair and is five-ways jointed. He has a black hand-embroidered nose, grey felt pads, and an open, peach colored felt lined mouth with good coloring. Nice airbrushing on back, which is typical to the size. Ted has his original bow, a nonworking squeaker, and a darling expression. This early post war panda was produced overall in 15, 22, 28, 35, 43, and 50cm from 1951 through 1961. SIZE: Standing: 8″ (20cm). Sitting: 6-1/2″ (17cm).
