*◊ EXTREMELY RARE PRESENTATION LUGER CARBINE WITH PUSH BUTTON STOCK.SN 9111C. Cal. 7.65 Para. 11-3/4″ bbl with long ramp front sight and 3-position adjustable rear sight, last two digits of SN on bottom. “M.P.M./FROMH.C.R./1903” in gold above chamber. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. Dished toggles. Numbers on gun are matching, including checkered walnut grips. Trigger is not numbered. Grip safety. Proper C suffix presentation SN on bottom of tang that attaches to forearm. Checkered walnut forearm with swing swivel has matching numbers. Wood bottom mag has flaming bomb proof and added numbers that match. Unnumbered push button stock has highly figured walnut and a checkered horn buttplate with engraved screws. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very good, retaining 60% orig blue with touch-up in some areas. Many surfaces are corroded and fading to brown or pitting. Straw is 50% and corroded. Grips are lightly worn with some chips to checkering and are oil soaked dark. Bore is worn with light pitting. Mechanics are very good. Mag has corroded body and little wear on wood bottom. Forearm has orig wood finish with nicks and dings overall, checkering is lightly worn with scattered chips. Wood on stock has been refinished and checkering has been re-cut.
