FINE DOULTON STERLING RIMMED TANKARD & DOULTON DRAGON HANDLED EWER.

1) The cream colored porcelain tankard having a satyr shaped figural handle, a mid-band of frolicking nude boys with grapes & vine flanked by two foliate scrolled bands. The top pouring rim hallmarked with English hallmarks “London 1894” with makers mark “HTB” (Brockwell & Son (Henry Titterton Brockwell)). Base having a Doulton Burslem impressed mark “1031” also written “3241”. 2) Fine paint decorated ewer having a dragon handle with head winding around neck with shaped top. The decoration against the cream colored ewer has branches of colorful flowers. The bottom having a crown mark “Doulton Burslem England”. Also marked “SW 1060”. SIZE: 1) 8-1/4″ h. 2) 9″ h. CONDITION: 1) Small professionally repaired chip on bottom edge, otherwise very good. 2) Very good. 50798-2 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 3112
