*◊ RARE MAUSER C96 PRE WAR BOLO WITH LARGE RING HAMMER, FLORAL GRIPS AND MATCHING BOLO STOCK.

SN 40284. Cal. 7.63mm. Standard configuration Pre War Bolo with 4″ bbl and slip in 100-1000 rear sight having a grooved cursor and sight bar. Long extractor, 2-lug firing pin, and large ring hammer. Mauser address on top of chamber. Full SN on left chamber flat. Crown/Crown/U on left side of bbl extension; antler proof on right side. 2-line Mauser address on right side of frame. Fitted with hard rubber floral grips. Major parts rust blued. Extractor, cursor, bolt stop, safety and grip screw fire blued. Trigger is strawed. Detailed disassembly shows all matching parts, including the sight bar, firing pin and each of the grip panels. Accompanied by factory orig Bolo stock, having 4″ crack through release button, matching pistol. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Approx. 70% orig rust blue with a uniform scattering of oxidative flecking and thinning of the floorplate and grip straps. Comparable condition fire blued parts and straw trigger. Hard rubber grips with minor handling dings, no discernible splits. Dark bore with barely discernible rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Stock lightly re-varnished with fire blue enhancement of hinge, latch retention screw and lug.
