1) WALTHER P38. SN 197826. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide Walther banner, “Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do.”/”P38”, crown over “N” in shield, “Cal.9mm”, SN. Marked on right side of slide two eagle proofs, “1/63”. Eagle “N” proof on front of bbl. Checkered black plastic grips, “54” stamped in top of left grip. Alloy frame. Magazine marked Walther banner, “P38 9mm”. Gun functions as double action only. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with most of orig finish but with a spot of surface rust on top left side of bbl. Shows holster wear. Grips have several dings and scratches. Excellent bore. Good working order, only as double action. Hammer will not cock in single action. 2) WALTHER P38. SN 002884. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide Walther banner, “Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do”/”P38 Cal.9mm”, SN. Matching SNs on frame, slide and bbl. Marked on right side of slide “10/58 1005-12-120-6168”. Two eagle proofs on front of bbl and right side of frame. Raised seam along top and bottom of bbl. Checkered black plastic grips. Alloy frame. Magazine marked Walther banner, “P38 9mm” on left side. “1005-12-120-0892 6/58″ marked on spine. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with most of the heavy Parkerized finish. Markings are clear. Light handling marks. Grips have several dings handling marks. Excellent bore. Good working order, hammer will not always catch on single action. IMPORT 3) WALTHER P1. SN 201752. Cal. 9mm. 5” bbl. Marked on left side of slide Walther banner, “P1 Kal 9mm”/”2/77” star, SN. Marked on left bbl lug with X-d out number followed by matching SN. Left side of frame marked with SN, circle dot proof, “Bw”. Front of bbl, right side of frame and slide marked with two eagle proofs. Alloy frame. Checkered black plastic grips. Magazine marked Walther banner, “P38 9mm” on left side. “1005-12-120-0892 7/63” marked on spine. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine with most of Parkerized finish on bbl and slide as well as black enamel finish on frame. Grips show moderate wear with handling marks. All markings clear. Excellent bore.
