1920s ERA BI-COLOR LYING FELT STEIFF RABBIT WITH BUTTON.

Most endearing tan and cream colored, head jointed Steiff rabbit. Body is highlighted with gentle airbrushing along back seam. Face is detailed with black and brown glass pupil eyes a tan hand-embroidered nose and mouth and a spot of pink to indicate his lips. His alert felt ears have a touch of pink airbrushed highlights on the interior. Rabbit wears a bow and bell, what appears to be his original bell attached with replaced ribbon. Rabbit retains his long trailing “F” button and fully legible red ear tag as his Steiff identification. SIZE: 7-1/2″ t (19cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection. CONDITION: Tiny professional repair on front paw. Slight spotting on body and slight tiny pin holes where whiskers were originally. Otherwise very good. 1-13814 (750-1,500) – Lot 3103
