OUTSTANDING CASED 26 PIECE ENGLISH STERLING FISH SET BY HENRY MATTHEWS AND DAVIS & LIONEL SPIERS.

Birmingham, 1894. The ornate set comprised of a 13″ fish knife, 10″ fish fork, twelve 7″ forks, twelve 8″ knives. Each piece with wonderful scrolling foliate design, the handles with feather edge. Unmonogrammed, and each piece hallmarked including handles. Housed in a fine fitted mahogany case with two removable inserts. The box having a lock (no key) and an unmonogrammed shield on cover. Weight of silver is approximately 56 troy oz. SIZE: Box 4-1/2″ h x 14″ l x 11″ d. CONDITION: Silver set appears to be like new condition.
