*◊ SUPER SCARCE MAUSER C96 MODEL 711 WITH 10 AND 20 SHOT MAGAZINES.

SN 84656. Cal. 7.63 Mauser. Fantastic Mauser M711 with 5/5″ bbl, having a fixed front sight and slip-in 50-1000 rear sight. Short extractor, 2-lug firing pin, small ring hammer, and no stock slot. Usual Mauser address over chamber. Crown/Crown/U on left chamber flat. Full SN on bbl extension, behind sight. Left side of frame is marked with the large Mauser banner. The right side has the usual 3-line address along with “Made in Germany” centered in the frame recess. Major and most minor components are salt blued with grip screw a fire blue. Broadly serrated walnut grips. No Lanyard ring. Orig 10-shot mag and four 20-shot magazines, all having a floorplate imprinted with the large Mauser banner. Disassembly shows all matching components with last 4 digits of SN marked inside forward frame and repeated on upper surface of late style fenestrated subframe. Locking block marked “R” but unnumbered, as is correct for this late variation. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: At least 98% crisp orig salt blue with the wear largely limited to the forward rails. No significant wear on frontstrap with only minimal thinning at the heel. Comparable condition small parts, grips, and spare magazines. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
