1) CYQ P38. SN 4940i. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Spreewerke. Marked on left side of slide “P.38”, “cyq”, SN. Maker’s code is double stamped. Standard eagle “88” proofs. Matching numbers on slide, frame and bbl. Brown Bakelite grips. “P.38v”, eagle “359” marked magazine. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good with a fair amount of orig finish. Normal wear on high points and grip strap from use. Markings clear. Bore has good rifling with light roughness. Grips with light handling marks. Excellent working order. C&R 2) MAUSER/BYF P38. SN 8893v. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide “P.38”, “byf/44”, SN. Standard eagle “WaA135” proofs. Small 8-pointed line star proof before inspector’s marks on right side of slide. Matching numbers on slide, frame and bbl. Brown Bakelite grips. “P.38v”, eagle “135” marked magazine. Brown leather “Akah” civilian leather shoulder holster. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine with majority of orig finish. Markings clear. Very odd Mauser. Marked on left side of slide “P.38”, “svw/46”. Black plastic grips. “P.38”, eagle “WaA706”, “jvd” marked magazine. High polish on slide and bbl. SN located on rear of frame above grip, under hammer. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Good with majority of orig finish. Standard wear from use. Markings clear. Excellent bore. Good grips with dings and scratches. Excellent working order. C&R 4) WALTHER P38. SN 128d. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide “P.38”, SN, “ac 45”. Brown Bakelite grips. “jvd”, eagle “WaA706” marked magazine. Dual tone with phosphate slide and bbl, blued frame. Numbers on slide and frame are not matching. No SN on front of bbl. “35” on left bbl lug. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with wear to phosphate. Blue loss on front grip strap. Markings clear. Excellent bore. Very good grips. Excellent working order.
