SN 4949. Cal. 9mm. 5″ bbl. Marked on left side of slide “P.38”, “byf/44”. Eagle N proof, SN. Right side of slide has faint eagle WaA135 proof next to scarce eagle F police proof. Left bbl lug marked eagle WaA135, eagle N. Phosphate frame and slide, blued bbl. Matching SNs on slide, frame and bbl. Black Bakelight grips. Magazine marked “P.38v”, Eagle WaA135. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster, marked on back “ewx/1944”, eagle WaA195, “P.38”. CONDITION: Fine with the majority of orig finish. Markings clear. Extremely light spot of rust at bottom of muzzle on left side. Light finish wear on high points. Very minor surface rust on frontstrap. Excellent working order.
