FOUR OUTSTANDING PIECES OF QUIMPER POTTERY.Lot including: 1) Magnificent, large and rare 9-1/2″ high x 15-1/2″ wide fan vase decorated on the front side with a Breton bagpiper and Bretonne spinner. They sit in a panoramic landscape. The backside, having a coat of arms with two rampant dogs and floral sprays with crown. The base having opposing gold dragons with stylized Fleur-dis-lis. A black “HB” mark on base (circa 1905). 2) 8″ high x 10-1/2″ wide fan vase having Breton and Bretonne on front and floral sprays on reverse. Dolphin fish base with fan design. Titled between figures: “Piriac”. Marked on base “Henriot Quimper” (circa 1920’s-1930’s). 3) 7-1/2″ high vase with swan-head handles, having a Bretonne with bowl on head on front and a shield coat-of-arms on reverse, signed “DL” (LUD) on base with “245 + 3”. 4) Large 14-1/2″ high Jack in the Pulpit vase with leaf base, having Bretonne on front with Decor Riche border. Signed on top of base “HR Quimper” (circa 1910-1920). SIZE: Sizes as noted above. PROVENANCE: From a private New Jersey collection; 1) Acquired from Joan Datesman.
