1920s STEIFF RATTLE BEAR WITH BUTTON.

This friendly Teddy is 5-ways jointed and made from white mohair. He does not have any paw pads or claw stitching. His petite, adorable face is detailed with black and brown glass pupil eyes and a brown hand-embroidered nose and mouth. He has a rattle feature, which Steiff made by inserting a tube filled with beads in his torso. He really is a lot of bear in a small package. Ted retains his long trailing “F” button as his Steiff ID. SIZE: Overall 5″ t (12cm). Sitting 4″ (10cm). PROVENANCE: Chuck & Cathy Steffes Collection.
