SIX PIECES OF RARE QUIMPER.

Lot includes: 1 & 2) Pair of 9″ Porquier-Beau plates, both marked “PB” on rear, one marked “Hannevec”; The rims with deep blue foliate border and have a shield, the centers vividly decorated, one with two women and child; the other with two women, child and older man at grave site. 3) 8-1/2″ diameter shaped Porquier-Beau coupe with 1st period “PB” mark A green and gold border with shield and displaying a seated seamstress. 4 & 5) Pair of Malicorne 9-1/2″ plates. The plates having “PB X” mark removed (after settlement of patent suit). One plate having title on base “Bannalec”, with decoration showing a man with child; the other showing a woman with child. The plates having a brown and cobalt blue border. 6) 12-1/2″ diameter, ruffled edge charger. The ruffle edge with red highlights, and circular gold ring design with an inner band of scrolls surrounding a central dancing couple. Marked on front “HR Quimper”, also marked on the base with the same mark. This piece has a hanger for wall display. SIZE: Sizes as noted above.
