China, 19/20th c. The dragon robe made mostly from gauze, the bottom portion made with silk embroidery. The center of robe woven with a huge golden dragon, amidst auspicious items such as cranes, bats, clouds, flaming sphere, flowers, and more, all above lishui and ocean wave patterns, the robe with mostly bluish-purple color.
